A direct successor to the 2D multiplayer shooter Soldat which took the Internet and LAN parties by storm in the early 2000's.
Soldat 2 aims at recreating the basic Soldat gameplay experience with fresh and enhanced content. Customization and modding will be a core feature with procedurally generated levels, custom game rules and modes, weapons, vehicles, structures and a battle simulator sandbox.

Soldat 2 is now available on Steam Early Access for $14.99 with 10% launch discount, and will remain so for approximately 24 months, collecting feedback from the players and introducing new features.
Currently the game includes singleplayer and multiplayer, 2 randomly generated levels with 2 game modes with a custom battle sandbox with a variety of customizatons and modifiers.

Michal, great job! Are you planning any innovation in terms of game design? So far, this is basically Soldat 1 Remastered. Don't get me wrong, it's a great technology update vs the original, looks great and feels smooth, a pleasure to play. Are those the only reasons we will have to grab it? This is coming 18 years after the first version of Soldat and a lot of wisdom about game design from you, so my expectation is towards the stars.. :)
